Algeria: Belaïli and Bounedjah heading for international retirement after World Cup 2026 disappointment?

Youcef Belaïli and Baghdad Bounedjah are reportedly considering international retirement after missing the 2026 World Cup. Bounedjah, 34, was dropped by coach Vladimir Petkovic due to behavior deemed toxic. Belaïli, also 34, is recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture.
