Alleged coup: Court grants FG’s plea for witness’ protection as 3 bankers testified

The Federal High Court in Abuja granted an application by the federal government to protect the identity of a witness in the trial of six alleged coup plotters. The defendants, including retired military personnel, face charges of treason and terrorism. Three witnesses from banks testified and presented letters from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, which were admitted as evidence by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik.
