The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) suspended a director, a deputy dean, and the Students' Union Government (SUG) president for unauthorized collection of 1,000 naira from each 100-level student. Management received a petition and set up a fact-finding committee. Director Ogunjobi allegedly authorized the levy without approval, Deputy Dean Olaleye participated in the collection, and SUG President Adio received 700,000 naira into his personal account. The three are suspended pending disciplinary proceedings.
