Ambassador Alyson King praises the strengthening of relations between Kinshasa and London

At the end of her mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, British Ambassador Alyson King expressed satisfaction with the evolution of bilateral cooperation with Kinshasa. During a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita, they discussed issues of peace and security, including the Disarmament, Demobilization, Community Recovery, and Stabilization Program. King expressed hope that her successor would continue to build a trusting relationship between the two countries, while Kabombo highlighted reforms for a more professional army in the DRC.
