Amnesty denounces the expulsions of American migrants to Eswatini

Amnesty International denounced as illegal the recent expulsion of 11 people from the United States to Eswatini, accusing the Trump administration of implementing a 'cruel and racist' migration policy. The group arrived Wednesday, the fourth such contingent since July, under a $5 million deal between Washington and Mbabane. Flavia Mwangovya, Amnesty's deputy regional director for East and Southern Africa, called on Eswatini to stop facilitating these illegal transfers.
