Amnesty International blames Nigerian Govt after Benue attack claims 17 lives

Amnesty International criticized Nigerian authorities over the killing of at least 17 people in Mbalom, accusing the government of failing to protect residents from repeated violence. The attack, which occurred during Easter festivities, also injured many and set homes ablaze. More than 500,000 people have been displaced by similar attacks across Benue State, living in overcrowded camps lacking basic necessities.
