Annual Conference in Rabat: Kandia Camara Chairs the Discussions of African Senates

The Annual Conference of the Association of African Senates is taking place in Rabat on April 8 and 9, 2026, gathering delegations from 13 African countries. The President of the Ivorian Senate, Kandia Camara, is chairing this event, aimed at strengthening interparliamentary cooperation and promoting the role of upper chambers in democracy. She is accompanied by a delegation of senior Senate officials, including Vice-President Diaby Makani and Chairman of the Social Affairs Commission Michel Coffi Benoît.
