APC Legacy Group submits three nominees for Kano Deputy Governor vacancy

APC legacy stakeholders have submitted three names to Abba Kabir Yusuf for the vacant Deputy Governor position following the resignation of Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo on March 27, 2026. The nominees are Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, and Murtala Sule Garo, each with significant experience in various administrative and legislative roles. After screening by security agencies, the governor will consult with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu before forwarding the final name to the Kano State House of Assembly for confirmation.
