APC stakeholders close ranks, back Garo for Kano deputy gov

A coalition of senior APC stakeholders in Kano State has endorsed Murtala Sule Garo as their preferred candidate for the vacant deputy governorship seat during a meeting that extended from Saturday into Sunday. Garo secured approximately 90 percent of endorsements from attendees, with strong support from the party's old bloc. Former House Majority Leader Alhassan Ado Doguwa advocated for Garo, describing him as the most suitable candidate.
