Charity calls for more meningitis vaccines after teenager's death

Lewis Waters, a sixth-form pupil at The Henley College, died earlier this week after contracting meningitis. Two other pupils from Reading Blue Coat School and Highdown Secondary School are also being treated for meningitis. The charity Meningitis Now is calling for a wider rollout of the MenB vaccination for teenagers and young adults, which is currently not available in the NHS routine immunisation schedule.
