Cameroon, with support from Japanese cooperation, has launched the Continental Aquaculture Promotion Project (Profip) to increase its fish production to 25,000 tons by 2029. This project, funded with 1.2 billion FCFA, aims to reduce the country's dependence on fish imports. The goal is to increase national production by 10% compared to the previous year, thereby contributing to food security.
