Armament: Military Spending Estimated at $2.9 Trillion in 2025, the World on Alert

Global military spending is projected to reach $2.9 trillion in 2025, marking a 2.9% increase from the previous year. The United States, the largest contributor, has reduced its spending to $954 billion due to the lack of new aid to Ukraine. In Europe, military expenditures rose by 14% to $864 billion, with significant increases in Germany and Spain. Russia and Ukraine are also ramping up their military budgets to $190 billion and $84.1 billion, respectively.
