Has Artemis II shown we can get back to the Moon?

NASA's Artemis II mission, launched on April 1, has passed all major tests, with performance exceeding engineers' expectations. The astronauts reported a surprisingly smooth flight, and the SLS rocket generated 8.8 million pounds of thrust at liftoff. Despite previous scrubbed launches, the mission has shown that the Orion capsule works as designed with people on board for the first time.
