The Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO) suspended the Kenya Association of Music Producers' (KAMP) licence for 90 days effective July 1, 2026. The Performing and Audio-Visual Rights Society of Kenya (PAVRISK) will collect royalties on an interim basis. Royalties collected during the suspension will be held in a separate account and not distributed until further notice, causing delays for artists and producers.
