Ashley Young announces retirement from football aged 40

Ashley Young, former Manchester United and England defender, has announced his retirement from professional football after a 23-year career. He started at Watford and played for several clubs, including Aston Villa, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Everton, and Ipswich. Young won numerous titles, including the Premier League and Serie A, and represented England at two major tournaments, reaching the quarter-finals of Euro 2012 and the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
