Assié-Akpessé: SOLIBRA offers a borehole that ends years of water supply drudgery

On July 10, 2026, SOLIBRA inaugurated a drinking water borehole in Assié-Akpessé (M'Batto), in the presence of local authorities, traditional chiefs, the Assié-Akpessé Development Mutual (MIWA), and the population. This achievement fulfills SOLIBRA’s commitment made on World Water Day on March 22. MIWA president Professor Edja praised the initiative and expressed hope for an ambulance for the local health center. Mrs. Linda Okossi-Assamoi, SOLIBRA’s CSR and Communication Director, highlighted the human impact, including the appointment of young people as 'water guardians' and hygiene awareness campaigns lasting until December.
