Atiku yet to publicly name Amaechi his presidential running mate - Sam Amadi

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named Rotimi Amaechi as the running mate for its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for the 2027 elections, but Atiku has yet to publicly confirm the choice, according to Sam Amadi, Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought. Amadi stated that Nigerians are waiting for Atiku to announce his vice-presidential candidate. ADC's spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi had earlier announced Amaechi's selection after extensive consultations with stakeholders.
