Ekiti attack: Police launch manhunt for bandits

The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Michael Falade, has ordered a manhunt for the perpetrators of the Eda Oniyo attack that occurred on April 28, 2026. The bandits attacked a church, killing Pastor Aregbe and abducting several worshippers. The police, in collaboration with the Nigerian Army and other security groups, have initiated search operations to rescue the victims and apprehend the culprits.
