No N210tn missing from NNPC accounts - Bala Wunti tells Senate as Dankwambo affirms same position

Former NAPIMS Group General Manager Alhaji Bala Wunti told the Senate that NNPC Ltd.'s 2023 audited financial statements contain no evidence of ₦210 trillion missing. Senate Committee Chairman Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo affirmed the committee had not established any missing money. Wunti explained the figure resulted from misinterpretation by adding receivables (≈₦107tn) and accrued expenses (≈₦103tn). He also dismissed reports of ₦5.8bn spent on incorporating NNPC Ltd.
