Customs hands over illicit substances worth N16.7bn to NDLEA

The Tincan Island Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has handed over a major seizure of illicit substances valued at N16.7 billion to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This seizure, which occurred two weeks after a similar operation, was carried out based on credible intelligence. A container from Toronto, Canada, was found to contain 8,347 packages of Cannabis Indica weighing 4,173.5 kilograms.
