Doctors excluded from payroll lists initiate a 'dry strike' amid Ebola outbreak in Sud-Ubangi

Doctors assigned since 2023 in Sud-Ubangi initiated a dry strike on September 16, demanding recognition and administrative regularization. They are not on the payroll lists and seek integration into the response against the Ebola outbreak declared on September 10. Two doctors are currently in quarantine after handling a deceased Ebola patient. The provincial Minister of the Interior promised to relay their demands to the relevant authorities.
