Ivorian Tourism: TDT Increases to 2.5%, Aboisso and Dabou Launch National Campaign

The national awareness campaign on the Tourist Development Tax (TDT) has started in Aboisso and Dabou, with the TDT rate increasing from 1.5% to 2.5% of the pre-tax turnover. The Ministry of Tourism and Leisure held ceremonies to explain this reform to tourism operators and local authorities. The TDT is now equally distributed between the Tourist Development Fund and the state budget, with the tax base expanded to include amusement parks and event spaces.
