Oyo Assembly cancels 3rd anniversary celebrations over security concerns

The Oyo State House of Assembly has cancelled its third anniversary celebrations due to security concerns, especially in the Oke-Ogun and Ogbomoso areas. Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin said the decision was to show solidarity with affected areas. He announced that 36 bills have been passed into law and 276 resolutions transmitted to the executive. The Assembly also held a security summit and conducted inquiries into the implementation of certain laws.
