Bandits kill eight in fresh Plateau attack

Suspected Fulani bandits killed eight residents in Mbwelle Village, Kwatas District of Plateau State, in what authorities described as renewed reprisal attacks. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on April 9. The victims included Habila Istifanus (38) and Iliya Mangut (70). Security forces responded to a distress call but did not encounter the attackers, who had fled before their arrival.
