Barkedji: a merchant shot, his wife tied up by robbers in 4x4

On the night of June 11-12, 2026, hooded and armed individuals attacked the shop of merchant Badou Guèye in Barkedji. They tied up his wife and shot the merchant before fleeing with a mobile phone. The vehicle used, a 4x4, had been stolen from a municipal agent of Linguère, Moustapha Fleur. The gendarmerie has opened an investigation.
