Barkédji: A father found hanged from a tree

On April 24, the body of El Hadji Coundoul, a 45-year-old mason and father of five, was found hanging in the bush in Barkédji. Villagers alerted the authorities, and the body was transferred to Dakar for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Investigators are not ruling out any hypothesis, whether it be suicide or third-party involvement, and an investigation has been opened to clarify the circumstances of this tragedy.
