Bayelsa's Tamunosoye Karibi-George named Miss World Nigeria 2026

Tamunosoye Karibi-George, a 26-year-old representing Bayelsa State, was crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 at the grand finale in Lagos. Although she represented Bayelsa, she is an indigene of Rivers State. She will represent Nigeria at the 73rd Miss World Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 9 to September 5, 2026. Ben Murray-Bruce, founder of Silverbird Group, announced the winner and praised her advocacy work through her initiative Beyond Labels, which supports children with special needs.
