Benin: 52 people arrested during dismantling of two ghettos in Godomey – La Nouvelle Tribune

Fifty-two people were arrested on July 15, 2026, in Godomey, Abomey-Calavi, during the dismantling of two ghettos. The suspects are suspected of trafficking, selling, and using psychotropic drugs. Searches led to the seizure of 285 psychotropic tablets, Indian hemp, pipes, phones, motorcycles, and cash. The detainees will be brought before the public prosecutor.
