Benin: 825 artisans soon to be trained thanks to a partnership with France – La Nouvelle Tribune

The Benin Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA-Bénin) and the French embassy announced on June 18, 2026 in Cotonou the launch of a new phase to train 825 artisans and strengthen 120 trainers. The project, started in December 2024 for two years, has already trained 120 young people and reinforced 240 apprenticeship masters in eight trades. The new phase plans to equip eight additional centers and create the Master Artisan title, covering eleven trades in eight departments of Benin.
