The Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) was presented as an industrialization model by Beninese President Romuald Wadagni at the Afreximbank strategic retreat in Addis Ababa. He emphasized the importance of governance and reforms for successful industrialization. The GDIZ, developed in partnership with ARISE IIP, aims to process raw materials locally. It currently hosts about 36 investors and spans 400 hectares in Tangbo.
