Benin: Polio vaccination resumes in six departments (June 12-15)

The Beninese government launches the second round of its polio vaccination campaign from June 12 to 15, 2026, in six departments (Alibori, Atacora, Borgou, Collines, Donga, and Plateau). Over 2.2 million children aged 0 to 59 months are targeted. Vaccination teams will conduct door-to-door visits to administer the vaccine free of charge, supported by international partners to strengthen collective immunity.
