Benin – Togo: BOAD Foundation releases 207.9 million FCFA for social projects

The Board of Directors of the BOAD Foundation, meeting on July 6, 2026 in Lomé under the chairmanship of Serge Ekué, approved a budget of 207.9 million FCFA for projects in Benin and Togo. Benin will receive 32.9 million FCFA for sickle cell disease care; Togo will get 55 million FCFA for women's empowerment and 120 million FCFA for cultural heritage preservation. The board also approved the 2025 financial statements, 2026 budget, and appointed a new auditor.
