Benue: Protesters storm Och’Idoma's palace with corpses after fresh herdsmen attack

Aggrieved protesters on Sunday stormed the palace of the paramount ruler of the Idoma nation, the Och’Idoma, carrying the corpses of victims killed in fresh attacks by suspected herdsmen in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State. Over 10 persons were confirmed dead after separate attacks on communities. Youths carried the corpses to the palace to demand urgent action from the Benue State Government, the Federal Government and security agencies to halt the persistent bloodshed in Benue South.
