Namibian president's son Nande Ndaitwah dismissed allegations by IPC president Panduleni Itula that a N$612-million solar project relies on family connections. Ndaitwah clarified the solar plant will not be built on the farm owned by his mother, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, but near the Sinomine Tsumeb smelter. He stated he approached the company directly without special access and that similar projects exist across Namibia.
