Journalists in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) face precarity and poverty, according to Cyril Kileba, first vice-president of the National Union of the Press of Congo (UNPC). Despite an apparent freedom of the press, constraints such as the war situation in the East complicate their work.
