Borno airstrike: Tinubu, security heads meet in Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu convened an urgent security meeting at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, in response to the deteriorating security situation in Nigeria. Attendees included Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede and other top military and security officials. This meeting follows a US State Department advisory that authorized the voluntary departure of non-essential embassy staff from Abuja. Discussions are also expected to address the fallout from a Nigerian Air Force airstrike in Borno that reportedly resulted in civilian casualties.
