BREAKING: Edo govt shuts down three schools over DSS alarm of possible abduction

The Edo State Government has ordered the temporary closure of three public secondary schools in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area after a security alert from the DSS about a possible mass abduction of school children in Edo North senatorial district. The affected schools are Ososo Grammar School, Ososo Comprehensive High School, and Makeke Secondary School. WASSCE candidates are allowed to sit for their exams under strict security arrangements. The closure is effective immediately until further notice.
