Breaking: NDC zones presidency to South for single term

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has zoned its 2027 presidential ticket to Southern Nigeria for a single four-year term. The motion was moved at the party's National Convention by Afam Victor Ogene, a member of the National Assembly. After this term, the presidential ticket will be automatically zoned to the north, clearing the way for southern candidates, including former Anambra State governor Mr. Peter Obi.
