He cut the 2026 growth forecast to 5.0% due to the Middle East conflict. The current account deficit is expected to widen to 3.0% of GDP in 2026. Reforms include mandatory electronic procurement from July 2026, an extension of the bank minimum core capital deadline to 2032, and a Sh3.9 billion allocation for village elders' stipends.
