Burkina: Federation denies abandonment of Stallions in Russia, announces return to Ouaga on June 12

The Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) denied rumors that the national team was abandoned in Russia, calling them false. The issues arose after a trip to Belarus, where administrative problems temporarily prevented re-entry into Russia. The situation was resolved with the help of the Burkinabe embassy and partners. The Stallions are scheduled to return to Ouagadougou on June 12, 2026.
