Burkina: Traoré praises relations with Togo and its role in the Damiba case

Burkinabe President Ibrahim Traoré expressed gratitude towards Togo for its assistance in the extradition of former President Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba. This extradition, requested by Burkina Faso following a foiled coup attempt, was carried out under judicial cooperation between the two countries. Traoré also highlighted a close military cooperation with Togo, particularly in the fight against terrorism.
