BVMAC: Cameroon to pay more than 120 billion FCFA to investors of its 2023 bond issue

Cameroon will pay the third installment of its 2023 multi-tranche bond issue on June 23, 2026, according to an announcement by BVMAC Director General Louis Banga Ntolo. The total amount exceeds 120 billion FCFA, including 10.7 billion in interest. Net coupons vary: 10,580 FCFA for Tranche A (10,000 principal), 5,600 FCFA for Tranche B, and interest-only payments for Tranches C (675 FCFA) and D (725 FCFA).

Orange Digital Centers: Over 14,500 Youth Trained for Future Jobs

According to Orange Côte d'Ivoire's 2025 Integrated Annual Report, the Orange Digital Centers (ODCs) in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Liberia trained and supported over 14,500 young people and project holders in 2025. These free training programs cover areas such as web development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, smartphone maintenance, digital entrepreneurship, and smart agriculture. In Côte d'Ivoire, 1,400 youth were trained and 350 job opportunities were created. The ODCs aim to boost youth employability in response to unemployment and the evolving digital economy.
