“You are unfit to rule Nigeria” — Wike mocks Peter Obi

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike called Peter Obi the “president of social media” at a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Rivers State on Saturday. Wike said Obi made noise online without tangible achievements to show for his time as governor. He argued that Nigeria needs a leader with practical experience, capacity and a proven record rather than someone relying on online popularity. Obi had not responded to Wike’s remarks at the time of publication.
