'MKO Abiola not poisoned' — Abdulsalami reveals real cause of death

Former Nigerian Head of State Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar disclosed in his autobiography that MKO Abiola was not poisoned. An autopsy by pathologists from the US, UK, Canada, and Nigeria ruled his death as natural causes. Abiola, who had hypertension and a heart condition since 1994, collapsed during a meeting with a US delegation on July 7, 1998.
