Circular Economy Forum: Plateau Municipality Sets Out Its Smart City Vision

At the Forum on the Transition to a Circular Economy, organized by the Prime Minister’s UA2P unit, the Plateau municipality presented its “SMART PLATEAU” project. Municipal councillor Ben DIARRASSOUBA outlined a strategy led by Mayor Jacques Gabriel EHOUO, focused on security, low-carbon mobility, urban amenities and digitized municipal services. Plans include electric and solar-powered shuttles, electric bicycles, 10,000 trees, and apps for administrative requests and tax payments. Participants included Environment Minister Abou Bamba, Finland’s ambassador Katja AHLFORS and Finnish expert Petri WANNER.
