The State of Cameroon, Africa Global Logistics (AGL), and Camalco, a subsidiary of Canyon Resources, are signing a memorandum of understanding on Thursday, June 4 in Yaoundé to revive the Edéa–Kribi–Lolabé–Campo railway corridor. The infrastructure aims to connect the national rail network to the deep-water port of Kribi and facilitate the export of bauxite from Minim Martap. The MoU, signed under the chairmanship of Transport Minister Jean Ernest Massena Ngallè Bibehe, sets the framework for a public-private partnership for studies, financing, and construction.
