The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ordered the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) to submit its defense by May 7. This deadline marks a critical phase in the legal dispute surrounding the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final, currently under judicial review in Lausanne. The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) filed an appeal on March 25 to overturn the Confederation of African Football's (CAF) ruling that awarded Morocco a forfeit victory after the Senegalese team abandoned the pitch over a disputed penalty.
