Oyo govt orders reopening of schools in Oriire, neighbouring LGAs Monday

The Oyo State Government has ordered the reopening of schools in Oriire Local Government Area and neighbouring areas on Monday, following the deployment of additional security personnel. This decision comes after schools were closed due to attacks in the Ahoro-Esinele community, where a teacher was killed and several students kidnapped. Dr Nureni Adeniran, Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, stated that enhanced security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of students and school staff.
