Celebrating the world’s robotics guru Barth Nnaji @70

Professor Barth Nnaji, a pioneer in robotics and artificial intelligence, celebrates his 70th birthday. In November 2000, the author visited him at the University of Pittsburgh, where Nnaji was a distinguished professor of robotics engineering. He holds the traditional Igbo title 'ONWA NKANU' (The moon that shines for Nkanu). Nnaji served twice as Nigeria's power minister and founded Geometric Power Limited, which provides constant electricity to Aba.
