CEMAC: Currency Circulation Increases by 7.3% in 2025, Cameroon Holds 44% of Liquidity

Currency circulation in the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) rose by 7.3% in 2025, reaching 5,755 billion FCFA. Cameroon, with 2,554 billion FCFA, accounts for 44% of this total, highlighting its status as the region's leading economy. Chad and Congo follow with 1,174 billion and 645 billion FCFA, respectively.
